Our fearless leader Dr. Renee Rucinsky, aka "Dr. R", earned her DVM degree from the University of Missouri and went on to spend several extra years becoming board certified in feline medicine by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners so she could offer a higher level of care to her patients and clients. She now participates in the approval process for other veterinarians hoping to earn feline specialist diplomate status, and contributed to the guidelines for hyperthyroid and nursing care for the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and diabetes care and fluid care for the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Dr. R is a Fear Free Certified Professional. Dr. R loves getting to know our clients and patients and it's not unusual at all to hear laughter emanating from our exam rooms during her appointments. She's owned by two cats, Bruce and Gibson, and one dog, Marla Pooch. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, biking, and visiting local breweries. Dr. R also believes that no home should be without an orange cat.Ashley Love, DVM

Dr. Love is an East Coast girl at heart having grown up in Philadelphia. She completed her undergraduate degree at Delaware Valley University. She then went on to attend Veterinary School at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. During her time in vet school she developed the ‘travel bug’ which has now taken her to over 15 countries. She moved to Las Vegas in 2012 and met her husband (a fellow cat lover) there in 2014. In 2017, she transitioned from Emergency Medicine to a Feline Only Practice knowing that she wanted to devote the rest of her career to making sure cats had a voice in the veterinary world. Doctor Love still loves to travel and makes it a point to visit a new area every year as learning new cultures and exploring new places is a passion of hers. When not traveling, she lives with 6 cats and a Blue-Tongue Skink named ‘Turk’. In her down time, she enjoys reading, hiking and watching Philadelphia sports games. Cats have always been a big part of Doctor Love’s life and she is very happy to have joined the MACH team to continue to give cats a safe space where they can enjoy fear-free veterinary care. Dr. Love is actively in the process of pursuing board certification in Feline Practice with the American Board of Veterinary Pratitioners.Dawn, RVT

Dawn is the backbone of nursing care at our practice. A registered veterinary technician (RVT) with over 25 years of experience, Dawn is the veterinary equivalent of an RN. Dawn helped to design the guidelines for feline nursing care for The International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) and the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). Dawn's commitment to our patients comfort is further demonstrated by her continuing her education and knowledge and being our very first technician to be Fear Free certified! She has now completed Level 3 of the Fear Free certification program. Dawn is a complete, well, smitten kitten when it comes to our patients. Her love for cats shines through her work in her gentle touch, her endearing "cat voice" she uses to talk to them, and her ability to read and understand their body language. Dawn and her husband Rob cohabitate with three darling felines and enjoy travel, a good wine, birding, learning Italian, and just about anything that takes them outdoors.
